Inclusivity in AI aims to ensure AI technologies are accessible to all members of society, taking into account factors such as gender, age, ethnicity, culture, socioeconomic status, and physical/ cognitive abilities during the design, development, and deployment processes. It means taking into consideration diverse perspectives, needs, and experiences of different groups when designing and deploying AI systems. Inclusivity helps us to combat societal bias, reduce discrimination and inequality, and promote fairness and social justice through the use of this technology. In doing so, we can break down barriers and ensure that the benefits AI technologies can offer are available to all members of society. In short, inclusive AI is a foundation we can strive towards to ensure equitable automation and ethical development of AI.
